HOME HELP SERVICE


Our Home Help Service has been designed to help you live independently at home. There are times where the general housework duties can become more difficult and we understand how important it is to have your home clean and tidy.  All of our Home Helps are fully insured, trained and hold an enhanced DBS (police check).

Housework

Please see a list of the tasks our Home Helps are able to carry out:

  • Vacuuming

  • Dusting

  • Cleaning mirrors 

  • Clean hard to reach areas

  • Cobwebs removed

  • Laundry and ironing

  • Changing Beds

  • Cleaning Bathrooms and Kitchens
  • Washing the floors

  • Clean inside the microwave

  • Clean inside of windows and all other glass 

  • Cleaning net curtains within your home

  • Help to organise  cupboards and drawers

  • As well as other domestic chores .

Shopping

 

 

 

 

 

 

We understand how difficult it can be doing your weekly shopping.  Our Home Helps will collect your shopping list from you and visit the  Supermarket of your choice. Upon their return they will also put your shopping away, if required.  This service can also be incorporated with additional hours before or after for housework or sitting/companionship.

 

*Due to safeguarding our clients, please note that we are unable to hold a clients personal bank card or use contactless. This service requires cash only.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sitting/Companionship

The Essex Home Help Sitting/Companionship Service provides ​essential respite for carers living with loved ones with daily challenges, enabling them to have some much needed valuable time to themselves.


This service is also available for those living alone who would like a Home Help to visit them for company, support and companionship.​


Our Home Helps are happy to join you in your favorite pastime  which could include activities such as: 

  • Reading
  • Playing cards
  • Listening to music
  • Reminiscing
Or simply having a chat and a cup of tea.
