FREE TELEPHONE BEFRIENDING

A simple conversation can mean so much.

A friendly voice, a listening ear and something to look forward to. Our free, regular telephone calls help people across Essex feel connected and less alone.

Compassionate support. Dignity and respect. Always.

Telephone Befriending

A friendly call. A real connection.

Sometimes it’s the everyday conversations that mean the most. A chance to share news, talk about your interests or simply enjoy someone’s company can make a meaningful difference to your wellbeing.

Our friendly volunteers provide free, regular telephone calls to people across Essex, helping them feel connected, valued and less alone.

Who is the service for?

We welcome enquiries from people who feel lonely or isolated. This may be because of age, health, mobility, caring responsibilities, living circumstances or other barriers to social connection.
